1. Scope & Purpose

VSHUB.io ("VSHUB", "we", "us", or "our") provides an autonomous, multi-tenant esports operating system enabling gaming communities, tournament managers, and competitive organizations to run bracket competitions, automated scoreboard scoring, live overlays, and customized hubs.

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, processing, and protection of user information when accessing vshub.io, tenant subdomains (<org>.vshub.io), custom CNAME domains, and our APIs.

2. Information We Collect

We adhere to data minimization principles and collect only information strictly necessary to power competitive tournaments, match telemetry, and secure account management:

A. Authentication & OAuth Data

Google OAuth: Email address, primary display name, profile avatar URL (used strictly for organization administrator access).
Discord OAuth: Discord User ID, username, discriminator, global avatar, and linked guild memberships (used for player identity and bracket seating).

B. Competitive Game Accounts

Gamer tags and publisher identifiers (e.g. Embark ID, Steam ID, Riot ID, EA ID).
Roster assignments, squad captaincy, tournament registration history, and match check-in timestamps.

C. Match Telemetry & Vision OCR

Scoreboard screenshots uploaded by players or captains to report match outcomes.
Automated statistics extracted via OCR: combat score, objective score, eliminations, revives, and character build classes.

D. Technical Telemetry & Logs

IP address, browser user-agent string, operating system version, and approximate geolocation (country/city level).
Edge server access logs and performance metrics through Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process personal data solely for legitimate competitive and operational purposes:

Tournament Orchestration: Validating team rosters, generating bracket matchups, verifying match lobby keys, and publishing real-time live overlays.
Competitive Integrity & Anti-Smurf: Cross-checking linked in-game accounts to prevent disqualified ringers or multi-accounting.
Platform Security & Authorization: Managing role-based access control (Superadmin, Tenant Owner, Tournament Manager, Captain, Player).
AI Vision Calibration: Improving the accuracy of automated OCR scoreboard parsers through human-verified tournament screenshots.

4. Cookie Policy & Local Storage

VSHUB uses essential, first-party functional cookies strictly required for security, cross-subdomain sessions, and localization:

To deliver low-latency global infrastructure, we partner with trusted, SOC2/ISO27001-certified third-party providers:

Supabase Inc.: Encrypted PostgreSQL database hosting, Realtime WebSocket pub/sub channels, and object storage in US/South America regions.
Vercel Inc.: Global Edge Network hosting, Next.js serverless functions, and privacy-friendly web performance metrics.
Google Cloud (OAuth 2.0 & Gemini AI): Identity verification for organization administrators and multimodal OCR model inference via Gemini 2.5 Flash.
Discord Inc. (Discord API): Contender authentication, community server linkage, and automated webhook tournament reminders.

6. Data Retention & User Deletion Requests

We retain user account records for as long as your account remains active or as required to preserve historical tournament records (e.g. tournament champion podium placements).

Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You have the absolute right to request the complete deletion of your personal account, linked Discord/Google records, and game accounts.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email from your registered address to privacy@vshub.io with the subject line ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST. All personal identifiers will be scrubbed from active databases within 14 calendar days.

7. Your International Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the EU under GDPR, Brazil under LGPD, or California under CCPA), you hold the following rights:

Request a complete export of all personal data held about you.
